Fireplace Dilemma
Dear Elysse
I need your help. My living room has a large rock wall fireplace that I hate but can't afford to take down-it's real rock.I really want to make it look/feel homey but the rock wall feels so cold and it's so big. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh and I'm on a tight budget too so I'm looking at anything that doesn't cost a lot of money. Can you help me?
Mary.
Hi Mary,
I agree with you the fireplace is a bit dark, I think you should paint the fireplace out. If you choose a lighter color or even white it will brighten the space. Check with your local hardware store for products to prepare and paint the stone. Here is a picture of a brick fireplace that has been painted to give you some inspiration.
If you have a staging dilemma please send us you questions we would love to help.
