Go for a Walk: Reflections of a Calgary Home Stager

Blog by Elysse Bulloch | May 19th, 2016

What better way to enjoy work-life balance than to get outdoors and go for a walk. As a Calgary home stager, it’s my extreme pleasure to have access to home Staging calgarythe amazing natural beauty of this part of Western Canada. It’s a part of who I am as a person, and how I relate to my clients.

While walking along the Bow River Pathway recently, I was singing along to Go For a Walk by Lissie. One key line really resonated with me and made me think about the shared connection I have with my clients.

I don’t want my life passing me by…I want to feel my life.”

Isn’t that really what we all want, in our own way? We want a solid home base as a foundation to support all the other things we want out of life. We want to feel free, not weighted down and trapped. We want to feel nurtured, both indoors and out.

Our homes, in whatever size or structure, form a critical base for all of it.

So, as a Calgary home stager, when I say to my clients, “Hate me now, love me later.” it’s because I genuinely have their best interests at heart.

I want you to have a strong home base. I want you to feel free to live your life the way you want to. That’s what I want too.

Embrace life, at home and out in the healing wonders of nature. Go for a walk!

And when it’s time to sell your Calgary area property, I invite you to get in touch with me, Elysse at Simply Stylish Staging. Let’s chat about why you can trust me as your next Calgary home stager.
